Will we lose our data?

This is the biggest concern for most organisations. With good planning, we can minimise data loss to nearly zero. Here's how we approach this:

  1. Mapping exercise: We'll create a detailed field-by-field mapping between your current system and HubSpot
  2. Data test with small sample size: We run multiple test migrations with validation checks to ensure no data is lost.
  3. Reconciliation process: After migration, we verify record counts and key data points
  4. Historical data: We make valuable historical data (notes, activities, emails) get transferred appropriately

We will always look at native (tried & tested ways of migrating the data e.g. HubSpot App Marketplace Connectors, SyncMatters etc), or CSV/Excel import-export or as a fall-back, we will look at using API to port data between the respective systems.
